SFLM Team Leader Programme Implementation 2017.pdf (PDF, 172KB)
We have an opportunity for a Team Leader Programme Implementation to join the Spatial, Forestry and Land Management (SFLM) directorate. This is a permanent position and the role will report to the Manager Regulatory Analysis and Implementation.
The Implementation Team provides operational support, including project assessments, field work and stakeholder engagement for forestry and land management schemes. The programmes include the Erosion Control Funding Programme and the Afforestation Grant Scheme, and implements post-harvest initiatives such as the illegal logging assurance scheme. The team is also responsible for providing field work support for issues relating to the Emissions Trading Scheme and Forests Act.
This leadership role is also expected to contribute to SFLM and Ministry-wide policy development initiatives and in particularly providing an operational perspective to these policy programmes.
The geographic location of the Team Leader is open but will be based in an MPI regional office. The Team Leader will manage a team spread across the North and South Island.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a focus on customer needs, achieving results and delivering quality work in a timely manner to meet Ministerial, Ministry and stakeholder requirements.
