The Business Technology and Information Services directorate is looking to recruit an intermediate Developer to join our Applications team. This vacancy comes at an exciting time as we are looking at bringing in new development and practices to support collaboration across the Ministry for Primary Industries. This means introducing new services, technologies and methods as we upgrade and integrate our platforms.
In this role you will work with a wider development team of 25, alongside Solution and Enterprise Architects to implement a new Applications strategy with a heavy emphasis on integration and mobility.
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
- Extensive experience with C# .NET development
- Desire to mentor others
- Capable of implementing complex software solutions
- Experience with BizTalk
- Experience with Azure
- Experience with API and web development
- Experience with Agile development
- Commitment to writing modular, supportable code
- Experience with unit testing
- Commitment to continuously learn and improve
- Communication skills for a working in a collaborative software development process
- Able to work well a cross functional team
- Organisational and time management skills
