We are looking for a superstar administrator to provide administrative and technical support to our Crown Forestry team. There will be a particular focus on operating the forest management information system; manage the payment of invoices and report on financial performance including general administrative support (under the control/supervision of the Business Manager). This is a 12 months fixed term role located in Rotorua.
Crown Forestry is a commercial trading organisation managing the Crown's commercial forestry assets including entering into new commercial arrangements to develop plantation forests. Its role is to prudently manage and administer this portfolio of forestry assets to achieve the best return for the Government and also meet the Crown's legal and contractual obligations. As a direct participant in the New Zealand forest industry, Crown Forestry stands apart from the fundamental policy, regulatory and service delivery roles of MPI.
As well as being a great team player, you will need to have:
- Experience in administration support
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft computer programs – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Have confident prioritisation and time management skills
- Ability to work unsupervised while ensuring completion of required duties
