We are currently looking for an Adviser Ministerial Support with good attention to detail and strong communication skills to join our Branch Planning & Performance Team.
The Branch Planning & Performance Team are a Branch shared service that plans, develops, measures, reports and improves the process and procedures across the system for the Regulation & Assurance Branch and the wider Ministry. We ensure the activities of the Branch is clearly aligned to the Ministry's strategy and core deliver systems and provide thought leadership around the business.
The Adviser Ministerial Support will provide drafting, proofing and editing documents intended for the Ministers that MPI serve, business data analysis, reporting and tracking on preparation of ministerial responses and general support within the Regulation & Assurance Branch.
Our ideal candidate will be an adaptive person who has the ability to learn new ideas and ways of doing things. You will have good attention to detail and excellent technical writing skills. This role will provide the opportunity to develop new skills through working with a diverse range of topics as well as building and maintaining relationships across all levels of the Regulation & Assurance Branch.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Assist in providing responses to ministerial letters, briefings, OIA requests and other materials to quality and timeliness standards
- Peer review of written material for various audiences
- Supporting Directors and Managers by ensuring appropriate consultation on documents has been undertaken and documents are of an appropriate quality
- Completion of a monthly dashboard which includes insight and trend analysis
