You'll get to manage procurement activities and provide contract, relationship management and commerical advice to business groups while ‘Growing and Protecting New Zealand'.
We have a fantastic fixed term opportunity for an experienced Procurement Specialist to join the Ministry for Primary Industries' Procurement and Commercial Management team. We are looking for a Procurement Specialist with ICT experience to jointly manage our ICT category.
Part of a high performing team – recognised as a leader in government procurement – you'll use your skills to continue our transformation from good to great. You will be responsible for developing and implementing category management and procurement strategies, leading procurement processes and providing specialist commercial advice and assistance with contract management as well as collaborating with Ministry-wide working groups and projects.
If you have a customer focused approach, can build strong and effective relationships with business partners, know your ROI's from your COI's, have a proven track record in contract negotiations, and sharp analytical skills – this is the career opportunity for you.
