About our team
Within MPI, the Forestry and Plant team, Agriculture, Marine and Plant Policy Directorate is responsible for developing policy advice and maintaining legislation relating to the forestry and plant sector, which includes horticulture and the arable, honey and wine sectors. You will be able to use and develop a wide range of skills, with opportunities to work on all aspects of the policy process, from analysing research, developing policy, advising Ministers and participating in legislative processes.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Policy Analyst to join our team. You will bring strong written and critical thinking skills and have the ability to work with ambiguity. Experience or interest in the primary sectors would help you succeed in this role. If you are experienced in tackling an issue, researching, developing proposals and providing advice you will be well suited to our team. If you like to be busy, have good judgement, and show initiative we want to hear from you.
