About the Role:
This position is specifically tasked with taking a leadership role in the delivery, on-going evolution and implementation of an Engagement Plan to support the building of a Biosecurity Team of 4.7million – all New Zealanders.
This work is a key component of the Biosecurity 2025 programme which is a future-focused system wide programme of work to build on the strength of the current biosecurity system. It's about being resilient and able to deal with the pressures of increased trade, more complex markets and supply chains, rising passenger numbers and environmental changes. Biosecurity underpins our economy and lifestyle.
The aim is to future-proof New Zealand's biosecurity system and build a shared sense of direction.
This means all New Zealanders need to play their role.
You will have experience in developing complex, long-term behaviour change or social marketing programmes that take a multi-year view. You will be able to work collaboratively across a range of sectors and with diverse stakeholders. You will need to be able to inspire, lead and hustle to achieve results.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in delivering complex, long-term behaviour change or social marketing programmes that take multi-year view
- Experience working in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Experience in developing and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders in ways that build commitment and partnerships
- A proven ability to deliver quality material on time and within budget
- Energetic and dynamic with excellent verbal and written communication skills
