We have a great opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Contracts Administrator to join our Procurement and Commercial Management team.
Your main focus in the role will be to provide a high level of contract administrative services to the team and the wider Ministry, updating and maintaining the contracts databases, including managing the contract completion process. You will also manage and maintain a number of generic email boxes and ensure contract templates and associated links are accurate and up-to-date.
As well as being a great team player, to be successful in this role you will need to have:
- Experience in contract administration processes
- An ability to plan work effectively, to see and understand the big picture while still demonstrating attention to detail
- Experience at maintaining effective relationships with customers to meet their expectations
- An ability to work consultatively and relate to people at all levels
- Proficiency in Microsoft computer programs, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
- Self-motivation and the ability to work without supervision
Our ideal candidate will be a quick learner, have a high level of communication skills and be able to use their initiative. We require this person to pick up anything that comes across their desk and be willing to get out into the business as the face of the team.
