Salary Band: $102,588 - $117,071, depending on skills and experience
Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role
As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role supporting the development and improvement of business processes to ensure Te Uru Rākau – New Zealand Forestry Service meets its obligations, and supports the delivery of forestry related programmes and projects.
In this role, you would have the opportunity to:
- Elicit and document user and information requirements as User Stories
- Understand, document, and communicate business needs, with strong consideration to the importance of the customer journey
- Process documentation for internal and external consumption
- Provide input and support to proposed solution design and development
- Support the definition and execution of user/business acceptance testing
- Contribute to the development of business processes, incorporating the principles of design thinking, including tools such as critical path analysis and relationship maps
Mōu - About You
To be successful in this role, you will have strong experience in a large and complex environment, as well as significant Business Analysis experience, ideally from within the public sector.
In addition to the above, we are seeking an applicant with:
- Strong analytical and written communication skills
- An ability to develop collaborative working relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Excellent work ethic, with a focus on customer centricity
- Familiarity with multiple development lifecycle methodologies, including Agile
- Experience in supporting the delivery of one of the major CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce)
- Strong attention to detail, able to work to a high level of accuracy.
