Kōrero mō te Tūranga - About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for successfully managing digital projects on MPI's Digital Investment Plan. Specifically, this includes managing projects from inception to completion, including managing internal resources, vendors/suppliers/partners, project objectives and expected benefits, risks and issues and financials. You'll be comfortable managing multiple projects concurrently. In addition, you'll prepare and present quality reporting to key stakeholders on project governance boards.
Mōu - About You
To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have significant proven experience managing digital projects or programmes in a large and complex organisation.
In addition to the above, we are seeking an applicant with:
- Bring relevant experience in comparable ICT Project Management roles, ideally gained in large, complex environments with a mix of application and infrastructure projects
- Possess project management qualification/certification
- Possess sound knowledge of project management techniques and frameworks and the ability to apply these
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills (senior leadership, technical subject matter experts, business subject matter experts, vendors/suppliers/partners)
- Effective communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal)
- Previous experience working with project management tools (e.g. MS Project)
- Proven leadership skills, with a focus on leading project teams to successful outcomes
- Committed to ongoing learning and adapting approaches as needed
