Role type: 2 Permanent and 1 Fixed-term 1 year - Full time
Location: Wellington City
Salary band: $60,331 to $70,977 depending on skills and experience.
Kōrero mō te Tūranga - About the Role
We have opportunities for three Advisers Operations to join the Approvals Operations team.
The Operations team includes members whose key responsibilities are the processing and assessment of applications under the ACVM Act, Animal Products Act, the Wine Act, and the Food Act. You will work closely with colleagues across New Zealand Food Safety and MPI, and in other agencies – so this needs to be something you'll enjoy. There are three positions available. Two are permanent full-time and the other is full-time fixed-term for one year.
Mōu - About You
To be successful in this role you will need to have a positive attitude and exceptional organising skills with great attention to detail to drive and co-ordinate an administrative/para technical process. You will be a confident communicator with a solid understanding of how to deliver as part of a team.
We are looking for someone who wants to hone their skills in understanding requirements, applying best practice and delivering results.
There is complexity and challenge in the role, so you will need to be energetic, adaptable, and innovative to thrive in this environment.
To succeed you will also need to:
- Have an eye for detail
- Be a team player, able to collaborate with and motivate others to help
- Be able to coordinate and prioritise incoming applications and processing requests from internal and external stakeholders
- Have experience working in fast-paced environments to deliver timeframes
