Salary Band: $96,073 to $128,570 depending on skills and experience
The Ministry for Primary Industries are currently recruiting for a Senior Adviser Service Delivery & Change to join our People & Capability directorate, which forms part of Corporate Services business unit based in Wellington
Kōrero mō te Tūranga - About the Role
As Senior Adviser Service Delivery & Change, you will support the Director Service Delivery & Change to design and implement a new tiered Service Delivery Model (SDM) for our People & Capability (P&C) directorate.
You will map out change activity, meet with stakeholders, conduct current state analysis, facilitate workshops, and ultimately contribute to the design and implementation of new P&C services and processes.
The key accountabilities of this position include:
- Conducting current state analysis of P&C services and processes
- Contributing to the design of future state services, processes, roles, and responsibilities
- Developing, presenting, and supporting implementation of recommendations to improve P&C Service Delivery
- Leading projects and initiatives under the broader SDM programme of work and ensuring key outcomes and milestones are met
- Proactively building and managing strategic & trusted business relationships across multiple stakeholder groups
- Facilitating co-design workshops and presentations with stakeholders
Mōu - About You
To be successful in this role, you will have experience across a range of P&C/HR functions and proven abilities and confidence in working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, including senior leaders, to deliver service design & improvement solutions.
You will have strong analysis skills with the ability to identify root causes, ask the right questions, and present clear solutions in a logical way.
Importantly, you will be highly inquisitive, have excellent planning & organisation skills, and substantial experience developing and maintaining effective working relationships. You will also be an excellent communicator with effective presentation and project management skills.
