Job Title: People Adviser

Role type: Full time preferred, fixed term or secondment until October 2026

Location: Wellington

Salary band & range: F $76,463 to $90,000 depending on skills and experience

About the Role - Kōrero mō te Tūranga

Join our People Advisory team and support leaders across diverse HR matters in a large, dynamic organisation.

Provide advice across workforce planning, remuneration, employment agreements, employment legislation, employment relations, change management and performance management. Build a strong generalist foundation in HR, variety and learning are guaranteed.

Our People Advisers are trusted advisers who support leaders with practical, people-focused HR solutions.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Hold a relevant HR qualification
• Bring generalist HR experience in a large, complex organisation
• Apply sound knowledge of employment legislation with confidence
• Navigate collective agreements in operational settings with ease
• Communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and conversation
• Build trusted relationships across teams, leaders, and unions nationwide
